White is all the rage!

Years ago an unspoken rule of only wearing white between Memorial Day and Labor Day came to pass.  The rebels of fashion that have broken that rule!  We saw white on the runways of New York fashion week, the MTV Video Music Awards, and the front covers of the hottest fall magazines.

There is nothing more stunning than white done right!  Taylor Swift stepped on the VMA’s red carpet wearing an all white J.Mendel suit.  Although it was a serious look for the VMA’s, she rocked the carpet in all white.  Model Miranda Kerr stepped out in a white wrap dress paired with a brown belt.  What makes these all white ensembles work for fall or winter is that they are not wearing white shoes with these gorgeous outfits.  A great way to wear white in the fall or winter is to wear colorful shoes, jewelry or makeup.  Make your outfit appropriate for the season by simply putting on some red lipstick and stilettos.  Or like Miranda Kerr, throw a brown belt on and you’re ready to go!

Black and white is a great alternative to transition into fall.  Black and white is such a classic look.  Vanessa Hudgens wore a tea-length black and white dress to a photo call for her new movie Spring Breakers.  This dress by Blumarine looks like something that you would have seen Audrey Hepburn wearing years ago.  There is something so sexy yet sophisticated about black and white clothing.  It is timeless and looks great on any girl at any age.

White can be worn in so many ways.  Don’t just think of white as a summer color anymore, wear white for all the seasons.  Have fun with fashion and wear what makes you feel fabulous.   Just remember no white shoes in the winter but make sure you incorporate some white in your wardrobe because white is all the rage!
