Ladies in Red

Christmas is right around the corner and the color of the season is Red! We are seeing the leading ladies of Hollywood wear red to movie premiers, holiday parties, or for a night out on the town. There are different shades of red, so be sure to wear the right shade for your skin tone and hair color. If you have fair skin a coral red will look best. Very few fair skinned people look good in a true red but there are a few exceptions, like Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera. Everyone knows when your skin is tan, you have more options of red that will look good on you. So with medium toned skin you can pull-off true red or even pink and cranberry shades. Have fun with the red you wear but make sure it flatters your complexion and personality.

Kim Kardashian, Scarlet Johansson and Amber Heard are just a few big names that have been rocking red on the red carpet. Amber Heard really made her debut in red for The Rum Diary premier along co-star Johnny Depp. She is wearing a strapless silk chiffon Elie Saab couture gown and looks absolutely breathtaking! If done correct, like on Amber, red can be the epitome of glamour! Sometimes red is bold enough that little jewelry is needed to make a statement.

So put all the black dresses aside this holiday season and dare to wear red! If you are not courageous enough to be covered in red, just spice up a dark pea coat with a red scarf. Or have fun and wear red lipstick to your next dinner party or social event. No matter the case, everyone needs a little red in their life this Christmas, so take after our favorite celebrities and be a lady in red!
