All About Skirts: Prom Dresses

When it comes to prom dresses and skirts, it can be a bit of a pain in order to decide what kind of skirt that you should choose. After all, there are so many skirts that go with so many different prom dresses—how do you decide which one is perfect for you?

First of all, look at you as an individual. Do you get cold easily? Do you not like having your legs showed off? Would you prefer a more princess-y look as opposed to one that isn’t so princess-y? It’s up to you. Keep in mind that short dresses look better on shorter girls while longer ones flatter girls that are longer. However, if you really don’t like long prom dresses or short cocktail dresses, go with what you feel most comfortable in.

Make sure that the skirt to your dress is completely appropriate, though. This is the safest way to wear your dress and make sure that you also don’t have to worry about getting kicked out of prom. Keep in mind that if you do wear a skirt that is inappropriate and are kicked out, you will not get a refund for it. Most of the time, your class sponsors will warn you against wearing these kinds of skirts. You can choose between long skirts, tea skirts (which are about half a foot shorter), asymmetrical (short in the front, longer in the back) skirts, and short skirts.
